In-person and phone assistance for those at-risk of eviction, legal aid for tenant-landlord disputes, mortgage assistance, and down payment assistance for 1st time homebuyers. Another initiative from Mayor Dickens' office, to streamline access to housing resources.
UPDATE: Gov't Sanctioned Homeless Encampment in Athens, GA Closing
Cooterville's encampment transitioned to First Step. We were cheering on this model but due to leadership failures and finance mismanagement its shutting down.
