LIFT 2.0 is a comprehensive homeless response plan aimed at addressing homelessness in Atlanta by housing 1,500 households by December 31, 2024. This initiative, which began in the summer of 2022, involves collaboration among private entities and city and state departments to provide sustainable housing solutions for individuals experiencing unsheltered and chronic homelessness.
LIFT 2.0 employs a Housing-First approach that prioritizes placing individuals into stable housing before addressing other issues such as employment or health care needs. We love this approach and will keep the public updated on the progress of this program.
