Isolation Hotels for Atlanta's Homeless

The Georgia Department of Public Health has been operating COVID isolation hotels over the last two years. Individuals who are referred must meet the CDC criteria for isolation and quarantine (be COVID positive or have known exposure to COVID and the inability to isolate in place).

The facility currently being utilized has not been made public. We know it is within the metro Atlanta city limits and has a capacity to hold 50 people (trailers are available as well). People who are cleared to stay at an isolation hotel will receive transportation to and from the facility via EMS transportation.

The Georgia COVID-19 Hotline number is 1-844-442-2681.
