Three (3) grants have been announced by the Dept of Veteran Affairs to assist homeless and at-risk vets and their families.
The Supportive Services for Veteran Families provides repaid rehousing, prevents the loss of a home, and assists in finding a new home. Homeless Providers Grant and Per Diem program are offering two (2) grants. These grants will pay for “transitional supportive housing beds or service centers" or provide apartments for veterans, who can keep the units as their permanent homes when they complete the program.
These grants are in the federal budget year that starts Oct 1, 2023.
