AgLanta "Grows-A-Lot"

AgLanta "Grows-A-Lot" is a city of Atlanta program that invites entrepreneurs, non-profits, and residents to apply for a 5-year renewable license to adopt a vacant, city-owned property to start a new urban garden, urban farm, or food forest.

The Campbellton Community Garden is another urban garden that has sprung up in the city. This is the 1st pilot site for the AgLanta Grows-A-Lot program. It is a vacant lot that neighbors are transforming into a food-producing asset. Volunteers are needed to help weed, mulch, and harvest; the lot is tended every Saturday from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Campbellton Community Garden is located in southwest Atlanta, you can click here for volunteer opportunities.
